Yard Sale Finds

One thing you will learn about me is that I love to yard sale. (Yes, I used it as a verb.) I don't just go out a buy whatever is a good deal. You will end up with a bunch of things that you don't need, that you will be selling at your next yard sale or donating it a couple of months down the road.

I make a list of things I am looking for: Right now I am looking for lamps, things I can redo or repurpose for around the house, anything to help with organization, and a dresser. I have to admit I do run into things that I didn't think I wanted or needed but it catches my eye. And it will usually make its way home with me.

My town had a village wide yard sale last weekend. It is my favorite weekend to yard sale! And I marked a couple of things off of my list. Here are my finds from over the weekend.

1. Lamp- I got it for $2. I hate the shade with the lamp, so I will be adding lamp shade to my list. I didn't think that I liked the orange but it works really nicely with the wall color.

2. Ceramic dog- Which I got for a quarter. He needs a little work but I think will make a great addition to our home.

3. Vintage table- I paid $3 for it! I haven't decided what I want to do with it, but I have a few ideas!

In total I spent $5.25 for all three items!

Make sure you check back and see how these guys transform. And I will give a final price on the item redo.
